This flat blade paring knife is just the right size for zesting citrus, peeling a pear, de-veining shrimp or other tight tasks a recipe requests of you - but lager than it's brother and can also be used to chop ginger, garlic or other small produce.

Hand-forged & hand-hammered in South Korea

Handling & care:

  • Do not cut frozen food
  • Sharpen with wet stone not sharpening steel
  • Do not use on very hard surfaces, wooden cutting boards are good
  • Do not put into dishwasher
  • If knife gets stuck while using, pull it out vertically and not side-ways

 

Materials

Metal - made from the strong steel used in railroad tracks

Handles - chestnut or oak, dried in the shade for years to achieve light-weight, rot-resistant, stability
