This folding fan is made by hand in Kyoto. 

A folding fan goes through the hands of craftsmen 87 times. The result is a beautiful high quality fan with many ribs that fits into the hand very well and creates a gentle yet strong breeze.

The frame of the fan is made of Japanese bamboo sliced thinly. The fan's folder is made of three different layers of Japanese paper.

The fan can be stored in a matching textile case when not in use.
