The Dutch design company Vilt Van Ver, meaning, Felt from Far, works with an organization in Nepal that gives Nepalese women the opportunity to  be financially independent, to receive fair wages and good working conditions. 

The products are of pure wool from New Zealand, which is dyed and processed into felt in Kathmandu at an altitude of 1300 metres. Every piece is different - the colours and shades of colour change with every piece and every production depending on sunlight, season and temperature.
