These hand-forged floral shears feature a keen, knife-like cutting edge, making them well suited for fresh flowers. Their lightweight, traditional Japanese-style design provides smooth, comfortable handling for a wide range of floral tasks. The traditional Japanese Ikebana floral shear features a unique handle design called "Warabi-te". The ring-shaped, curled ends allow crushing hard stems, thereby improving the flower's ability to absorp water.

The blades are made from high-purity carbon steel, are easy to sharpen and can be honed to a keen edge.

The black finish on the handles is created through a heat-treatment process in a dedicated furnace, without the use of conventional paint. This method preserves the natural character of the metal and gives each pair a distinctive, understated appearance.
