Unscented candles that produce a warm, deep orange flame that enhances calm, mindfulness and wellbeing. Handmade in Japan.

Set of 3 long candles

This is a Warosoku (Japanese candle) made from natural Haze (sumac) wax with special salt for purification. Beautifully handcrafted by artisans, each candle uses a traditional wick made with washi Japanese paper, unique to Warousoku.

These candles are part of the World Religion traditional candles from Haze. They make a reference to the three world religions Buddhism, Christianity and Hinduism and walking the middle path in life.

Ravi Shankar (1920 – 2012) was a Hindu and devotee of the Hindu god Hanuman, a monkey-like humanoid and central companion of Lord Rama. He was also a vegetarian. For him music was religion and the quickest way to reach godliness was through music.

The approximate burn time per candle is 90 minutes.
