This is a Warosoku (Japanese candle) made from natural Haze (sumac) wax with special salt for purification. Beautifully handcrafted by artisans, each candle uses a traditional wick made with washi Japanese paper, unique to Warousoku.

These candles are part of the World Religion traditional candles from Haze. They make a reference to the three world religions Buddhism, Christianity and Hinduism and walking the middle path in life.

Michelangelo (1475–1564) was one of the most significant artists of the High Renaissance. His works exhibit emotional and spiritual depth. Although wealthy, he was an ascetic artist. His entire life was radically devoted to art. He renounced material luxuries and bourgeois comforts and viewed his creative work as a form of rigorous, disciplined labor (often under precarious conditions).
