This is a Warosoku (Japanese candle) made from natural Haze (sumac) wax with hemp powder for harmony. Beautifully handcrafted by artisans, each candle uses a traditional wick made with washi Japanese paper, unique to Warousoku.

The candle expresses harmony by mixing hemp charcoal powder with sumac wax. Hemp has been considered sacred since ancient times in the Japanese Shinto religion. It is also used as a tool to ward off evil spirits.

The approximate burn time per candle is 50 - 60 minutes.
