Unique chess board made by hand of 2 types of wood and featuring superb inlay craft - the complimentary board to surrealist chess figures designed by Man Ray.

The chess board is made of German beech veneer & black dyed Bolivar wood. Each square is inlaid by hand in meticulous detailed work by skilled craftsmen.

The German manufacturer is a family business in its 3rd generation and has been supplying chess boards to generations of avid chess players - among them the chess champion Bobby Fischer.

IC Design developed this chessboard in collaboration with the experienced manufacturer exclusively for the Man Ray chess pieces and is pleased to offer it.
