IC Design Classics - Sophie Taeuber-Arp - Candlesticks "Bauhaus"

Candlesticks designed in 1929 by Sophie Taeuber-Arp for her home in Meudon-Clamart. This edition was realized in collaboration with the Fondation Arp, Clamart.  

The 4 candlesticks have a simple cylindrical and orthogonal  form. They inspired the artist couple Sophie Taeuber & Hans Arp and fit harmoniously with their own furniture designs in their home in Meudon-Clamart, in the outskirts of Paris. 

Wooden candle stick, painted in 4 basic Bauhaus colours (red, yellow, blue, white), fits taper candles
