The cutting board is made of a solid piece of Hinoki wood. The Hinoki tree is a cypress tree which is native to Japan and is known for its lightness and natural fragrance.

The square porcelain plate is perfect for collecting all juices while cutting and can also be used to serve food. It is the right size for cutting almost anything. The light weight and small size allow easy and practical handling. A quick rinse and the board is ready for the next cutting job. 

Use it together with other Sitaku products such as the ginger grater, lemon press, mortar and storage containers.
